In 63913252 (mirror: t3089: delete the mirror...), in order
to prevent the conflict with the port image, we modified the handle.
Now it seems that some problems are caused by

The start-interface option was not correctly handling both in and out
directions. This is part of the problem with OpenVPN, and also shows
up when doing QoS on PPP.
