The DUID regex was missing a lower bound, which could cause it not to
match when it should.
We have to specify the lower bound explicitly as 0 to keep the regex
behavior similar to that in Python (in Python, omitting the lower bound
is equivalent to specifying 0).

Refactor DUID XML definition in conf-mode to be reusable. Additionally, remove
explicit call to a separate validator `ipv6-duid` and inline the regex into the
XML definition.

Example:
set interfaces ethernet eth0 dhcp-options user-class VyOS
or
set interfaces ethernet eth0 dhcp-options user-class 56:79:4f:53

The string data type specifies either an NVT ASCII string enclosed in double
quotes, or a series of octets specified in hexadecimal, separated by colons.
For example:
set interfaces ethernet eth0 dhcp-options client-id CLIENT-FOO
or
set interfaces ethernet eth0 dhcp-options client-id 43:4c:49:45:54:2d:46:4f:4f
As of now there was no input validation performed.

wifi: T5491: allow white-/blacklisting station MAC addresses for security

T5447: Initial support for MACsec static keys
|
|
|

Station MAC address-based authentication means:
* 'allow' accept all clients except the one on the deny list
* 'deny' accept only clients listed on the accept list
New CLI commands:
* set interfaces wireless wlan0 security station-address mode <accept|deny>
* set interfaces wireless wlan0 security station-address accept mac <mac>
* set interfaces wireless wlan0 security station-address deny mac <mac>

wireguard: T5409: Added 'set interfaces wireguard wgX threaded'
|
|
Using threaded as CLI node is a very deep term used by kernel threads. To make
this more understandable to users, rename the node to per-client-thread.
It's also not necessary to test if any one peer is configured and probing if
the option is set. There is a base test which requires at least one peer
to be configured.

This is only a cosmetic change so that the default value is properly retrieved

Container registry CLI node changed from leafNode to tagNode with the same
defaults. In addition we can now configure an authentication option per

This fixes a regressin introduced in commit e22e9c9210cb5 ("wwan: T3622: add

No need to have two distinct include blocks as one superseeds the other. Also
this makes the entire behavior of "description" CLI node simpler.

Directed broadcast is described in rfc1812#section-5.3.5.2 and rfc2644.
By default Linux kernel doesn't forward directed broadcast
packets unless both of `/proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/all/bc_forwarding`
and `/proc/sys/net/ipv4/conf/$iface/bc_forwarding` are set to 1.

The sla-id parameter of DHCPv6 prefix delegations is limited to 128. While this
is enough to use all /64 subnets of a /57 prefix, with a /56 prefix that is no
longer sufficient.
Increased sla-id length tp 64535 so one could delegate an entire /48.

Since introducing the XML <defaultValue> node it was common, but redundant,
practice to also add a help string indicating which value would be used as
default if the node is unset.
This makes no sense b/c it's duplicated code/value/characters and prone to
error. The node.def scripts should be extended to automatically render the
appropriate default value into the CLI help string.
For e.g. SSH the current PoC renders:
$ cat templates-cfg/service/ssh/port/node.def
multi:
type: txt
help: Port for SSH service (default: 22)
val_help: u32:1-65535; Numeric IP port
...
Not all subsystems are already migrated to get_config_dict() and make use of
the defaults() call - those subsystems need to be migrated, first before the new
default is added to the CLI help.

Commit 05aa22dc ("protocols: static: T3680: do not delete DHCP received routes")
added a bug whenever a static route is modified - the DHCP interface will
always end up with metric 210 - if there was a default route over a DHCP
interface.
